From thrashing his nephew in public (he was stern, but nothing like that as far as I know) and now having bitter recollections of Haydn (he was prickly about Haydn criticising his piano trios, but in later years was highly admiring of his former mentor), it's like Beethoven lived a far more rambunctious life than it was.

I'm having a blast. Looking forward to more.
