Jaydens idealism doesn't come in handy when realism is what's needed more in a project. I wasn't giving what I thought was important, I was stating a fact.

Okay? I am trying to see things from a characters point of view, and you are telling me what YOU think is important when it comes to architectural design. Brother I don't really care what your personal views are, especially when it is a response to me attempting to see things from a characters point of view.

I think one of the most important things for this design is simplicity. Their target audience is old people. Old people that tend to get confused easy and don't want to learn new things. The last thing you need is making some fancy building that the tenants can't even find their way around in. Just bc a building is square doesn’t make it unappealing. The building, no matter what, should be an easy to understand square with straight, NSEW hallways inside. Interior and exterior designs are where you have your aesthetic fun; that, and assuring the functional rooms and grounds are also filled with fun and exciting amenities that old people enjoy and require to stay mentally and physically healthy. A good nursing home has simplicity, function, and old people amenities galore. A fancy building is the last thing they need, or even would want.

In reply to <a href="https://culturedworks.com/golden-print-chapter-32/#comment-451">paleSnow</a>.

Yes, but that singled mindedness is also what can drive someone to become extraordinary. He wants to leave a mark on the world that is his, something new and special. I honestly like that kind of drive.

And his family is wealthy enough that he don't necessarily have to do the grunt work that others needs to do.
Heck we know he succeeded in the "future", so is it still wrong of him to be that way?
