Agree Author been dumbing down SW after they literally undercovered IJin in matters of chapters in the earlier part of the series. To the point they didn’t gave an actual background check to alice or right now where they would have covered their ground with this guys if this was earlier in the series and took him down like the governor/senator in the earlier chapter.
